She could tell that he loved her completely. The love of his life, the reason for his living. All other things were secondary. To him, she was the source of his life. To him, she was the reason for everything. To him, she was his everything. But to her, he is just one of the many reasons to live. There are others out there also worthy of her attention. Friends, family, hobbies and what have you. But to him, it didn't matter what his place was in her heart. He just loved her with all his heart.
Then came along another her who wanted so much to give him happiness but he was too engrossed in her to accept changes or even try to adapt to another one. She yearned for so much, wanted much more for him but his heart is still very much attached to her. She didn't give up, she tried and she conquered.
Two years later, he finally looked at her in a different light. It was no longer just friends but more. However, that loving gaze, that tender touch was still reserved for her.
And on one accidental night, she found it. All the past memories of him and her.. She didn't want to think too much into it. She didn't want to read too much into it. Being the heavy thinker that she is, she thought long and hard all night. She finally came to a conclusion. She was just another chapter in his life. A chapter that could easily be forgotten.
